Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of animation do you make?

Here at Studio Orca, we work across many techniques and styles. We really believe in tailoring the animation to the brief, and choosing a style and technique that best serves the story being told. We work in 2D hand-drawn animation, CGI (using either Blender or Maya), Motion Graphics, live-action puppetry, stop-motion, miniature models, and hybrid mixed-media techniques such as combing animation with live-action footage.

How much do you charge?

This really depends on the project and its requirements, scope and style. The best way to find out is to email hello@studio-orca.com with a brief explanation of your project and we can discuss from there. The animation studio is very flexible, so adjustments can easily be made to suit your animation project.

How long does it take to create animation?

This again is very dependent on the requirements of the project. A 15 second hand-drawn 2D animation (like this), for example, would take much longer than a 15 second Motion Graphics animation (like this). The length of your project has a huge effect - generally the longer it is, the longer it will take to make.
